MailSurity’s Digital Mailroom is built on open standards so it can fit into any computing environment and easily interface with other software.

Intelligent Routing: The key to MailSurity’s Digital Mailroom is intelligent routing. It automatically routes a high percentage of mail, minimizing the cost of manual routing. Mail addresses can be highly variable: names can be misspelled, nicknames or initials can be used, mail may be addressed to the company without a name or to a department, etc. To handle this variability, MailSurity’s Digital Mailroom uses a combination of database matching, pattern recognition and learning algorithms so that its performance improves with use.

Mail Delivery and Management: When an address is matched to an employee, an e-mail is sent to them with the name of the sending company and a link to the mail images. Clicking on the link brings them to their secure Web page were they can view and manage their mail at any time from any location. They can also search the database for mail from a specified sender, date range and key word.

Security: The MailSurity system was built to ensure the highest level of security.

• Access – Employees and administrators have user ids and passwords to control access.
• Data Encryption – Images are encrypted using AES encryption with 2,048 bit PKI keys. Public and private keys are maintained in database in a password encrypted state.
• Data Transmission – Data is transmitted using SSL.
• Connection Filtering – IP filtering is used on all connections.

In addition, the mail server is behind your firewall so it has the same protection provided to your other enterprise applications.
